Class Descriptions

Group Exercise Class Descriptions:

PUSH
A group weight training work out that strengthens, tones and firms the body through the use of barbells and dumbbells.

EXTREME PUSH

Take the fundamentals of PUSH and take it up several notches with cardio intervals added in.  Recommended for those in intermediate to advance fitness conditioning.

FOREVER YOUNG/
LOW IMPACTS AEROBICS
A low impact aerobic & strengthening class.

KICK BOXING
A cardio kick, chop and punch aerobic class

YOGA
Improve your flexibility, strength & tone your muscles. This class is for your mind, body & soul.

PILATES
Tone, stretch and firm your body in these controlled streches & movements.

20/20/20
20 minutes of low impact, 20 minutes of basic step & 20 minutes of weights.

AQUASIZE/HYDROSIZE
A low impact aerobic workout tha takes place in the pool.

BALLATES
A pilates class that includes the challenge of ball stability.

BUTTS & GUTS
A toning class that specifically attacks the abdominal and gluteaul areas.

CYCLING/EXPRESS RIDE
A cardiovascular stationary bike class

STEP CHALLENGE
A cardio workout using the step for intensity.

JUMP IT

Cardio jumping class with jump ropes. Fun spin on jumping rope!

ZUMBA

Adult dance-based fitness class that uses a fusion of Latin and International rhythms with easy-to-follow moves & high calorie burn!

Silver Sneakers® Muscular Strength & Range of Movement
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.


SilverSplash®
Activate your aqua urge for variety! Silver Splash offers lots of fun shallow-water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required, and a special Silver Sneakers kick board is used to develop strength, balance and coordination.
